Summary

The Planet Rescue Microsite was launched in tandem with Dreamworks’ Monsters vs Aliens animated movie with the overarching theme of environmental responsibility and preservation.

Through a series of mini games, children were introduced to the idea of taking an active role in combating modern day environmental issues such as deforestation, recycling, air pollution and caring for the ocean.

Players could create their own custom playable avatar within the mini games and showcase their designs to other site users.

The microsite itself was customised and translated into multiple European regions and languages.
